Hey guys, well my playoffs started last week and i had the bye in a 12 team ppr league. My team has slowly slowed down in scoring the last couple of weeks and it seems as if im on the verge of losing this week. Here are my players and just want to know who i should start. We start 1 qb, 2 rbs, 3 Wrs, 1 te, 1 Wr/te, 1 Wr/RB, K, Def

QB: Rivers or Schaub. Leaning towards schaub at home
RB: Kevin Smith, Portis, Lynch, Derrick Ward, Sammy Morris
WR: Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Chad Johnson, Cotchery, Desean Jackson
TE: Carlson
Def:pittsburgh, or Colts
K: will drop someone and pick one up

What starts will give me the best chance to win. ive been to the playoffs 7 years in a row, and have not won. Haha hopefully this is my year. Will appreciate all the advice i can get. Thanks a ton and this forum has been great all year.

Schaub (tough call)
Portis/Ward/Morris
Sit Chad Johnson
Carlson
Colts

What kickers are available? Carpenter (Miami) may still be out there and should score big this week.

If you have to drop someone for the kicker, drop CJ and not K Smith. They play the Saints next week.

Thanks for the Advice FW, ive just had a hard time benching lynch all year since he was one of my top picks. Do you thinks morris is a good start? Wanted to start K. Smith as well, but i think lions may get down early in which they will probably abandon the run game. Thanks FW!!

Picks don't matter this time of year. All about matchups.

I would play K Smith over Morris, but he may only get carries for half a game, while Morris will get more chances at a TD. The Jets D has sucked lately, but so has the Bills offense. I also see Fred Jackson taking carries away too from Lynch.. Lousman at QB doesn't help.

You said your team has been slowly losing points, Lynch is a reason why. The good news for you is Portis should have a good game, and Ward is the starter vs Dallas.

FW, appreciate the advice...What is your view on Schaub and Rivers. Im really torn on this one here most of all. QB is such an important part of this league. Accounts for a 1/4 of teams points if not more every week. Completions and TD's are important. What do you think?

Schaub
Morris, K Smith (Check status on Lynch, all three have nice matchups)
AJ, Fitz for sure, probably Cotchery

K- I am high on Kris Brown this week vs Oakland. Try to get him or a dome kicker, lots of weather issues.

They're calling for rain in oakland on sunday, plus Brown is 11 for his last 15 - not too good. Is Hartley available? NO should put up big numbers against Detroit.

I have Carney as a kicker and I'm going to drop him for either Hartley or Matt Bryant...who do you like better? I can see Tampa putting up 3 fgs and a 2 tds...Bryant hasnt been making them that much lately though. Saints may score but they may score td's rather then fg's

I think TDs early and then FGs late. Just like the Titans did against DET.

But Brown has made min of 2 in each of the last 4 games. I am starting him over Bryant if the weather isn't too bad.

ya according to weather.com, it is supposed to rain throughout the day tomorrow in oakland. hmm...is there a qb on the wire i should take a risk on or should i go with rivers? I picked up hartley. So portis should ride the pine this weeK? Something tells me to play portis over morris because of the fact patriots rotate those 3 guys quite a bit. Thanks for all the help guys!!

Portis is a GTD. Philly is tough on RB's also.

For Morris:
RB-The Cards have fallen apart versus RBs in the last four games. They allow the 3rd -most RB points overall. This is interesting; a RB has scored a receiving TD in five straight games.
